on September 24-25 and offer free events for the public
at McKinney Roughs Nature Park including family hiking
and presentations on keeping your children safe from
environmental toxins in your home, schools and communities.

- Presentation: The Green Flag Program. Stacey
Gonzalez, Center for Health, Environment and Justice,
Falls Church, Virginia
The
Green Flag Program helps schools become healthier
places for kids, and teaches students about the school's
environment. In the program, parents, teachers, and
kids work together to investigate environmental issues
in your school, identify problems, create solutions,
and improve your school environment. When a school
makes these improvements, it wins the Green Flag Award
for Environmental Leadership.

be presented by Children's Environmental Health Institute
board member and Pediatric Residency Director for Baylor
College of Medicine.
