9:00 a.m. - Park Opens

9:00-5:00 - Enjoy free hiking for the family (sponsored by the Lower Colorado River Authority)

12:00-3:00 p.m. - Supervised activities for children: Yoga Yoga, Cooking Demonstrations, Dancing Demonstrations and Music

12:00 - Presentation: The Green Flag Program. Stacey Gonzalez, Center for Health, Environment and Justice, Falls Church, Virginia

The Green Flag Program helps schools become healthier places for kids, and teaches students about the school's environment. In the program, parents, teachers, and kids work together to investigate environmental issues in your school, identify problems, create solutions, and improve your school environment. When a school makes these improvements, it wins the Green Flag Award for Environmental Leadership.

1:00 p.m - Presentation: Fresh Choices: More than 100 Easy Recipes for Pure Food When You Can't Buy 100% Organic. Rochelle Davis, Author, Executive Director of Generations Green, Chicago, IL. Rochelle will explain the impact of toxins on our health and wellness and how to prevent children from exposure through food.

2:00 p.m. - Presentation: Protecting Your Children from Environmental Health Risks in Your Home and Community. Martin Lorin, M.D., Professor, Baylor College of Medicine An introduction to children's environmental health will be presented by Children's Environmental Health Institute board member and Pediatric Residency Director for Baylor College of Medicine.
