The
center for aeromedical education, training, and consultation in
direct support of USAF, DoD, and international aerospace operations.
Provides peacetime and contingency support in hyperbarics, human
performance, clinical and dental investigations, environmental
health, expeditionary medical support, and aeromedical evacuation.
Trains 6,000 students annually, maximizing $172M in educational
assets.

Directions
from San Antonio International Airport
1.
Take State Highway 281 South from the Airport.
2. Stay on 281 South and it will merge with Interstate Highway
37 South.
3. Continue South on Interstate Highway 37.
4. Exit at Loop 13 West (SE Military Drive, BROOKS CITY-BASE Exit
Only).
5. As you exit, get into the far left driving lane.
6. The first traffic light is Goliad Blvd. At the second traffic
light turn left on to North Road. This is the Main Gate to BROOKS
CITY-BASE.
7. For SAS, continue on North Road 1/4 mile and turn left on 2nd
Street which ends at SAS buildings 558 and 559.
